On the evening of 3 October 2025, JD Polman Hotel celebrated its second anniversary. The hotel’s ballroom was brightly lit and filled with guests — leading figures from Cambodian business and society, representatives of the Chinese community and business sector, and international partners — who came together to mark the milestone in an atmosphere of celebration and optimism.
Mr. Lin Meiguo, President of the Cambodian Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce, looked back warmly on how the chamber and the hotel have grown together. Two years earlier, he said, the chamber had started with just a few young entrepreneurs with a shared dream; today it is a platform of more than 100 leading members spanning cross-border e-commerce, cross-border trade and the digital economy. On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, he extended his warmest welcome and most sincere thanks to all the guests.
President Lin’s "four celebrations in one" brought the event to its peak: the chamber’s second anniversary; the hotel’s second anniversary; and the second anniversary of the completion of Guangdong Road. The fourth looked to the future — the hotel’s new ballroom was about to open, not simply an expansion of physical space but a new stage for larger-scale trade forums and cultural exchange.
Ms. Yin Cheng, Marketing Director of JD Polman Hotel, spoke about the journey that began when the first foundation pile was driven six years earlier, and expressed her gratitude for the market recognition the hotel has earned over the past two years. She announced that in December 2025 the hotel would officially open a new multi-function ballroom with a total area of more than 600 square metres. Equipped with top international facilities and able to accommodate 300 people, the space will be an ideal venue for international conferences, brand launches and celebratory events.
Mr. Su Jie, President of Cambodia Yunsong Film – Shuanghe International Film, added to the celebration with a passionate speech. He praised the hotel for becoming a benchmark in Cambodia’s hospitality industry within just two years, and announced a deeper partnership: more film crews will stay and shoot on location at the hotel, and the two sides will jointly host film premieres and cultural and variety events. He also revealed that his company’s film and television app would launch soon, bringing audiences a rich line-up of overseas short dramas and films.
The celebration unfolded in a warm and lively atmosphere. Galaxy Garden also marked the occasion by putting its "creating a better life" philosophy into practice, launching the "Yuexiang Xinghe" (Enjoy Galaxy Garden) membership service to offer Chinese residents in Cambodia better, warmer support across everyday life — clothing, food, housing and transport. The anniversary showcased the fruitful results of China-Cambodia people-to-people cooperation and the vitality of young Chinese entrepreneurs in Cambodia. With this celebration as a new starting point, all sides will continue to write a new chapter of win-win cooperation.
